Willow Backpack making workshop

Join us on 16 November for a willow backpack-making workshop hosted by Westcountry Willows. In just 5 hours, you will learn the basics of creating a beautiful and functional basket using willow and making your own rope to make the straps for your backpack. No experience is necessary, as we will provide all the required materials. At the end of the workshop, you can take your handmade basket home with you, a treasure that will last a lifetime. The workshop will be held at our workshop in Co. Roscommon. Don't miss out on this unique and creative experience. Please wear appropriate clothes and footwear for the weather it can be a bit chilly sometimes. You might want to bring a packed lunch. We supply tea/coffee and biscuits. Basket weaving can be hard on your hands. €20 (non-refundable / non-transferable unless by arrangement with Kate or Alan ) deposit required for booking. €80 payable on the day of the workshop.
