About us
Throughout history, humans have utilized the natural resources that surrounded them to create useful items. Basketry, for instance, has been around since the Neolithic period, even predating pottery and stone carving.
The use of natural materials, such as wood and skins, has played a crucial role in the development of human knowledge and culture.
We are based in Co. Roscommon, Ireland, surrounded by willows, rushes and wilderness. We create baskets and crafts using the materials that grow around us, and we offer workshops to teach these traditional techniques.
Our passion is to share our journey and traditions with others by teaching natural crafts that are true to our roots and heritage. Join us and learn how to create beautiful, functional willow baskets and other natural crafts passed down through the generations.
The beauty of the natural world is all around us and we strive to preserve and share it with others through our work and workshops.
